Green City Africa Inc (GCAI) is ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance)-compliant, providing a wide range of real estate and digital technology services, focused mainly on the development of green cities and agroforestry systems across Africa. It is the first private company that practically addresses the issue of poverty, food security, social injustice and climate change in Africa leveraging modern technological innovations, and as such provides the urgently needed leadership in the area of sustainable development. We are poised to develop ten (10) brand new smart, net-zero carbon, resilient green city projects across Africa and has already commenced, in collaboration with Port Harcourt Green Enclave Ltd, the building of our pioneer green city project (Port Harcourt Green City) which covers 1,000 hectares of land in Omerelu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. We are also currently consulting and negotiating with the main stakeholders in other states in Nigeria and some African countries to build additional nine (9) green cities and to complete the acquisition of 100,000 hectares of land for agroforestry systems across Africa.
Our vision is to be the leading global company driving global green development as well as the campaign for a net zero carbon, socially inclusive digital economy with a decentralized financial system in Africa.
Our mission is to leverage Web 3.0 technology and other emerging technological innovations to facilitate and fast-track green development in Africa by building world-class, eco-efficient, net-zero carbon, smart, and resilient green cities as well as community-based agroforestry systems across Africa. With our GCity token, we are challenging the status quo by changing the traditional way real estate services and agroforestry projects are delivered to stakeholders.
Our green development concept blends the three pillars of sustainable development: namely, society, environment, and economy. We strongly believe in an uncompromised, smart world in which there is social, environmental, and economic security and justice. In other words, we have a technology-oriented green and sustainability culture that focuses on people, planet, and profit.
The company is poised to provide innovative leadership in green development across Africa. Our major partner and platform across Africa is Green City Africa Climate Action Initiative (GRECACAI). We are also establishing strong relationships with the main stakeholders in the real estate and digital technology industries including local communities, employees, partnerships, governments/regulatory agencies, international developmental agencies, consultants, clients, and investors. We are also building agroforestry systems that will effectively fight extreme poverty and food insecurity across Africa and a large network of individuals, communities, market associations, professional bodies, and NGOs to be involved in our green development projects. Our green and sustainability culture blended with ESG–compliant corporate governance model would guarantee that all our stakeholders are equally protected and richly compensated without compromising the natural environment and in conformity with the international best practices.
Our innovative solution is the synergistic effect derived from blending green development with digital and blockchain technology. This integrated (green value) model guarantees liquidity, efficiency, transparency, and sustainability (LETS) of real estate investment and agroforestry.
